My Grandmother, Marget Brown wrote an autobiography of her life, which I think is really fascinating. Reading it when I was younger, and then reading it aloud to her again taught me so much about her life, as well as life in New Zealand.
She wrote this book on the computer herself from her various diaries and printed out copies for the family. I think it is such as interesting and well-written account that I want to share it with anyone who is interested.
I am doing some minor editing of the text, but am limiting this to typos (there were a lot of double spaces in stead of single spaces), and I am also in the process of separating some of the longer sections into smaller ones to make it easier to read. As she completed this in 2002 and passed away in 2017, after consultation with the rest of the family, I will also add a section about the between years.
Marget was an amazing woman and she led a fantastic and happy life. I know I am incredibly lucky to have had her as my Grandmother, and I thank you for taking the time to read these accounts of her life.
